Eastern Pioneers

My brothers, Cbomb and Calbomb, who dwell with me are from P-Lizzie(Port Elizabeth).

They do many things in life but if you peal all those layers away at the heart of things they are traders (see pic, Cbomb bought those lollies from Gatties in bulk for a bomb deal).

They are what one would call "Fashionistas". Standing for trending, hip, now people who are and know all things fash.

I am totally grateful to them for all they have taught me.
Their clothing line is the newest most bonty thing at the moment.

From the Back office

Due to word on the street I have been confronted by my boss and accused of spending most of my time blogging. Right now I am mirroring this through “blockednomore.com” in the back office.

I am currently working on Shoprite renovations which has allowed me the priviledge of hanging around the “shop of the people” a little more. The first time I realized that Shoprite was ahead of the game was when I was served by a lady who had one of the best moustaches I’ve ever seen (please see previous post). On my latest visit to Shoprite Goodwood I was really take back by how progressive they are. The car park is filled with car gaurds from the local area, “viva employment for the people”. What I enjoyed even more was how seriously these guys took car guarding. One guy was sporting a pair of camo pants which I thought was very appropriate (see pic). The same guy in the camo pants seemed to be the highest in rank because he was leading the guards in guard stuff. He issued instructions to the team on getting trolleys to cars and he used other general car guarding jargon which went over my head.

I would just like to apologise to all people from these areas north of Cape Town. I have judged everywhere north of Millys market according to the average shop owner at the market. There are some fascinating people out there, and quite friendly. Pic below shows one of the lower ranked guards giving me such a warm thumbs up.

Kramer

This man has been a deep well of inspiration for me. I draw out of this well every morning in front of the mirror but it only leads to shattering disappointment when I step outside into the 40kmph wind. How does one get their hair to be so perfectly poised in vertical chaotic beauty like his?

I have little doubt that his hair perfection is partially a result of inter racial breading throughout his family linage.

This does leave me slightly jealous of those with Koi San in their heritage.

My mate Trav (black hair in the middle) had the most beautiful head of hair, but he cut it off when he moved to Amsterdam because it was too much to carry around on a bike.

There is a special place reserved in the Fashion Police jail cell for those who sacrifice beauty at the altar of practicality.

Frikken awesome Boet

Evox will be pleased to know that I am back on the 5xl horse.

It has taken me for a ride this week, my stomach has rebelled for the 5th day in a row now.

Im almost certain that its nearly 100% organic, I have the double chocolate flavour and it tastes nearly completely like bark- so it must be organic.

Im pretty excited about the pending results.

I've been told I'm somewhere in between the second and the first guy (muscle size wise). So I'm hoping 5xl will push me into the upper bracket closer to the guy on the right. One benefit I foresee is that I won't need a belt for my short-shorts anymore because my thighs will hold them up.

My housemate Dominator is training my other housemate Craydle in the board room with weights and gym balls etc. There is a deep sense of urgency in these sessions because Craydles goose (Karnegee) has expressed in no uncertain terms that you are not a man unless you have the V.

Most people just wouldn't notice cutting edge if it sliced their toe open.

My brother MV, seen in the picture, pioneered this new trend months ago. Its a unique blend of high fash, practicality, and "my pants aren't ironed so these will have to do".

Please notice the use of the midi length sock which is used to draw attention to what he believes to be one of his top bonty features- his legs. So clever yet so simple.

A wise man named Mu-Ray once pointed out that he divides his look into work and play. MV understands this divide well.

by a creative for the creatives

Dear Followers (now at 3, but I think I am 1 of the 3)

After my study sabbatical I return to you feeling refreshed, inspired and ready to be more artsy than I've ever been.

After being submerged in economic theory for most of my awake hours the last two months I have emerged out of my cocoon, once a moth, now a beautiful butterfly. I have been expressing this new beauty mainly through dance, drawing, dress, song, and crayon.

I now understand why art students are required to do 1 day theory a week. Because this boredom and restriction creates greater creative beauty in their practical days. For example when I was studying I would get flashes of new dance moves that I would perform once I broke free. Sometimes I would start writing in different fonts at random. Restriction brings inspiration.

So if you are being restricted creatively now, do not lose heart. When the time comes for you to break loose, you will be more beautiful than ever before.

My friend Jenny once said that everyone has something to bring to the creative table. I think she might have got it from Dr Phil, but I'm not 100% sure. But it is so true.

Express yourselves today friends
be beautiful

The Recession is deep

With the end of the year festivities comes a time to reflect at what has passed;

There have been high highs: Me getting my first follower of this blog
There have been very low lows: I still only have one follower

Even during these tough times of economic crisis's we have pushed through with only minor hardships prevailing in our lives

One of them being making concessions in transport methods
This is Jackies mode of transport and those are Andrews legs

Food at work is another place I have taken to cheaper alternatives

I am looking forward with positivity and hope of what 2010 will do for our economy, and maybe I will be able to add some pink palony to the mix on certain days of the week.
